Night out for Emmerdale characters will change their lives for good with series of flashbacks from the evening planned in Spring

A MAJOR Emmerdale storyline will change the lives of at least ten characters for good this Spring.
Jacob Gallagher, David Metcalfe and Maya Stepney are just some of the cast who will be involved in a “big night out”.
Producer Kate Brooks revealed there will be a series of flashbacks in subsequent episodes.
She said: “We’ve got really brilliant stuff coming up in April, May time.
“A big night out, which we will tell in a very interesting, fresh way. That’s really good.
“It’s a night out for some of our characters and we’ll find out a week later what’s gone on in that night out, in a series of flashbacks.
“Ostensibly, it’s, 'Hey Emmerdale are out having fun in a club', but then it will be revealed that it will change some of our characters’ lives for good.
“There’s a lot of drama involved in that night, and because we’re Emmerdale we’re telling it in a kind of different way.”
The storyline comes as the Maya and Jacob grooming storyline continues to outrage viewers.
Fans fear she will kill Liv Flaherty after catching the teacher kissing the teen.
Also involved in the new plot will be David’s ex Tracy Metcalfe, Rhona Goskirk, brothers Billy Fletcher and Ellis Chapman, Robert Sugden, Aaron Dingle, Victoria Sugden, Leyla Harding and the returning Amy Wyatt.
Speaking in Northern Ireland ahead of a series of special episodes for the ITV soap, Kate said: “There will be a lot of shenanigans.
"It will be a lively fun couple of episodes in the nightclub but obviously there’s going to be revealed ultimately that there’s been a lot of stuff that’s gone on.
“Jacob, Maya, Leyla, David, Tracy are involved in the night out.
“Rhona’s on the night out too, Billy, Ellis, Robert and Aaron, Victoria, Amy.
“A big gang and each character has something big on.”
