Coronation Street’s Michelle Keegan lookalike Ruxandra Porojnicu shoots her first scenes as Seb Franklin’s love interest

Seb is called to a nail salon in an upcoming episode and is quite taken with one of the employees

CORONATION Street's Michelle Keegan lookalike Ruxandra Porojnicu has been pictured shooting her first scenes as Seb Franklin's love interest.

The model and actress plays Alina, a beautician working in a salon where Seb, played by Harry Visinoni, is called out on a job to fix a problem.

While he gets on well with the owner, it's stunning Alina who catches his eye, with Seb casting a glance her way as he leaves.

Alina reciprocates as she looks over her shoulder and smiles at Seb, hinting there could be a new romance on the horizon.

This is despite the fact Seb thinks he is in with a chance with Sarah Platt, even though she is dating Gary Windass.

Once the scene ended, Ruxandra wrapped up warm in a large black puffer coat, a big smile on her face after filming her first moments in Weatherfield.

But with her long dark hair pulled up high in a ponytail, she bore more than a passing resemblance for former Corrie star, Michelle Keegan.

The 31-year-old played Tina McIntyre in the soap until 2014, when she was killed off in a big whodunnit storyline.

Her departure left soap fans devastated for multiple reasons, not least because Michelle had won Sexiest Female at the British Soap Awards six times.

But with Ruxandra her doppelganger on the Cobbles, they will no doubt be hoping they have a new fan favourite in the making.
