Who is Mamie Gummer?
Mamie Gummer is the actress daughter of Meryl Streep and sculptor Don Gummer.
She was born in New York on August 3rd 1983 and raised in Connecticut where she attended Miss Porter's School and Kent School before graduating with a degree in theatre and communications from Northwestern University.
Mamie became engaged to actor Benjamin Walker in October 2009 after a year and a half of dating.
They married in July 2011 at her parents' home but announced their separation in March 2013.
The actress became engaged to fellow actor Mehar Sethi in August 2018 and married him in February 2019, the same month their son was born.
Which movies has she starred in?
Mamie had her first taste of the movies when she starred in Heartburn with her mother in 1986 - though she was credited as Natalie Stern to avoid media scrutiny.
After a career in the theatre that saw her win a Theatre World Award and Lucille Lortel Award nomination, she made her movie debut as an adult in 2006's The Hoax.
The following year she acted alongside her mother in Evening, aptly playing the younger version of her mother's character.
Mamie went on to feature in HBO series John Adams as Sally Adams and has guest-starred in The Good Wife as well as Off The Map.
She's currently starring as Lucy Purcell in HBO's drama True Detective.
