Billie Faiers’ wedding ‘in jeopardy’ as her stepdad is refused onto the plane for being ‘too drunk’

BILLIE Faiers’ wedding was almost in jeopardy as her stepdad was “too drunk” to get on the plane.

The whole family gathered at Gatwick Airport last night to fly to the Maldives for Billie’s beach wedding to Greg Shepherd.

But their carefully laid plans soon came unstuck when Dave Chatwood was told he couldn’t board after apparently enjoying one too many drinks before trying to board the flight.

“Billie’s stepdad has been refused on the flight because he was too drunk and all the flights were delayed because of him,” one furious passenger exclusively told The Sun Online.

“He delayed everything after that and other passengers were fuming when they saw what was going on.”

Billie’s best mate Ferne McCann was seen consoling Dave as he feared he had ruined the star’s big day.

The pair were later seen giggling like naughty school kids after apparently indulging in too much champagne in the lounge before boarding.

“It’s fair to say he saw the funny side but other passengers didn’t,” our source added.

It’s thought that distraught Billie and her family begged staff to pull some strings and eventually Dave was finally let onto the flight with just days to go before her wedding.

The group were some of 95 guests jetting out to the Maldives to see Billie get hitched to fiance Greg Shepherd.
