The Hollywood star called family friend Khloe to speak about claims that Jordyn kissed Khloe’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson at a party
WILL Smith has been forced to step into Khloe Kardashian’s cheating row – and made a secret call to Khloe about his ‘niece’ Jordyn Woods.
Sources claim Will – who is best friends with Jordyn’s dad – called family friend Khloe to speak about claims that Jordyn kissed Khloe’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson at a party, triggering their break-up.
“The Smith family know the Kardashians really well – they were all at Kim’s wedding to Kanye – and so Will picked up the phone to speak to Khloe,” says the insider.
“Jordyn is just 21 and naïve. She didn’t mean to hurt anyone.
"Will always supports her and considers her family.”
Insiders say that the call is why Khloe switched from blaming Jordyn in an angry Twitter rant, to blaming Tristan.
After Jordyn gave an interview to Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Facebook Live show Red Table Talk, Khloe wrote: “Why are you lying @jordynwoods??
"If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!
“Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter.
"He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired,then yes I would address him publicly as well.”
A day later, she changed her tune, saying: “This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I).
"I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time.
“What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault.
“I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.”
Jordyn had claimed that she hadn’t cheated with Tristan, who is father to Khloe’s daughter True, instead saying that she draped her legs over him during a party at his house, and he later kissed her on the lips.
"It was a kiss on the lips, no tongue kiss, no making out,” she said.
"I should have gone home after the party, I shouldn't have been there.
"Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting on him ... never once did we leave the public area, go to a bedroom."
Will met Jordyn’s dad when he worked as a sound engineer on Will’s show, The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air.
Jordyn and Will’s son Jaden also became close, and Will actually called into her Red Table Talk interview to offer support.
“I want you to know that you are supported," he said. "I got you and we got you.
"This world is not going to break you. We won't allow it."
