Stacey Solomon won’t take maternity leave after having baby with Joe Swash because she worries about money

The TV personality revealed she will not be taking time off when she gives birth to her third child later this year

STACEY Solomon admitted she won’t be taking maternity leave when she has her first child with boyfriend Joe Swash because she’s worried about money.

Appearing on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio today, the Loose Women star, 29, said she has no intention of taking time off.

She confessed: “I’m self-employed so if I don’t work, I don’t get paid.

“In this industry you can only earn while you’re earning and it might be a situation that I have work now but in six months time I might not. I will carry on working.”

Stacey – who has sons Zachary, ten, and Leighton, six, with ex Dean Cox – announced her pregnancy on Instagram last month.

The former X Factor star shared a family picture as she thanked fans for their messages after her baby news.

Joe is already dad to 11-year-old Harry who he shares with ex-fiancee Emma.

The ex-EastEnders star was recently forced to deny the couple are expecting a boy after he sent fans into a frenzy with a video of himself shouting: “Yeah, boy.”

Joe explained to fans that he had not actually identified the gender of his unborn babywith Stacey after they jumped to conclusions.

The I’m A Celeb star, 37, said: “Just so you know I didn’t announce the gender of mine and Stacey’s baby. I was actually saying ‘yeah boy’, because Arsenal had scored.
