CORONATION Street fans were left in hysterics tonight as Seb Franklin got the wrong idea and thought Sarah Platt wanted to have sex with him on his 18th birthday.
Seb has developed something of a crush on Gary Windass' girlfriend, and he thinks his feelings are reciprocated.
It kicked off earlier this week when Seb rescued Sarah’s nephew Max who decides to be a hero and head off to help Shona Ramsey who was being held hostage by her son Clayton.
But he’s stopped in his tracks by Seb, who delivers him back to a very grateful Sarah. In fact, Sarah’s so grateful that she talks Gary into giving Seb his job back at the builders’ yard.
Seb is so pleased that someone is being nice to him that he starts getting gooey-eyed over Sarah.
When it seems that everyone has forgot his 18th birthday, Seb is delighted when Sarah says she has a surprise for him.
And he’s even more surprised when he arrives at the Platt house and Sarah has left a note saying she’s in the bath waiting for him.
Seb can hardly believe his luck but the note was actually for Gary. He doesn’t realise that though and heads up the stairs after Sarah.
The teen was left red-faced by the mix up, and viewers at home found it hilarious - taking to Twitter to make their feelings known.
One wrote: "Seb's got the wrong idea hahahaha #coronationstreet!"
