Friends say Posh is wary of Helena's fascination with David and that she's often nervous about his friendships with female celebs
DAVID Beckham has infuriated wife Victoria because of his growing friendship with former supermodel Helena Christensen.
Friends have revealed the former Spice Girl, 44, is wary of the 50-year-old Danish beauty’s fascination with the ex-England skipper, 43.
Posh is also unhappy Becks partied with Bella Hadid, 22, in Miami recently at another late night private party.
A Beckham insider revealed: “Victoria is often nervous about David’s friendships with female celebrities – there is naturally some jealousy given she’d love to spend more time with him.
“David and Helena hit it off right away and have stayed in contact.
“Bella and David have hung out quite a few times now. But Victoria heard about a late night party in Miami, which annoyed her because she wasn’t able to attend.”
David and Helena partied at an Adidas and British Fashion Council bash the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star hosted.
He was joined by best pal Dave Gardner, 42, and also posed up with celebrities including singers Marc Anthony, 50, and Pharrell Williams, 45.
Helena is a close friend of Gardner and his model wife Liv Tyler, with the group regularly socialising together in the south of France.
US model Bella has been pictured alongside Becks twice before – at a Paris St Germain Champions League football match in March last year and front row at the Dior Homme fashion show in Japan the following November.
The former England captain’s rumoured fling with ex-PA Rebecca Loos, 41, shortly after he joined Real Madrid in 2004 was the first big scandal to rock the couple.
But they made it clear the alleged affair was not going to break them and Brand Beckham.
Opera singer Katherine Jenkins, 38, denied she was having an affair with Becks in 2012 as more women became linked with the star after he retired from football the following year.
The Sun has previously revealed how Victoria has been uncomfortable with David’s friendships with a number of high profile women.
They include actress Charlize Theron, 43 and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley,31. Victoria skipped Guy Ritchie’s wedding so she could avoid the pair.
Model Poppy Delevingne, 32, who he starred with in 2017 movie King Arthur, has been another glamorous addition to Becks’ new network of friends, much to the dismay of his wife.
Helena previously dated INXS frontman Michael Hutchence and has a son with The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus. She also dated Interpol rocker Paul Banks.
Bella has enjoyed an on/off romance with Canadian singer The Weeknd since 2015.
A separate source close to the Beckhams said last night: “There are no issues in their marriage.”
