Billie Faiers’ ‘yobbish’ wedding guests left dirty nappies on the beach and ruined £12k trip of a lifetime for elderly couple to the Maldives

BILLIE Faiers "yobbish" wedding guests are said to have left dirty nappies on the beach and thrown stones at sharks as they ruined an elderly couple's £12,000 trip of a lifetime to the Maldives.

Various holidaymakers have come forward to slam 29-year-old Billie, her new husband Greg Shepherd, and their guests for taking over the swanky hotel resort that they used as their wedding venue on the stunning island of Kuramathi.

The latest disappointed Brits to cross paths with the Essex wedding party are grandparents who have been left devastated after the "yobbos" brought "Ibiza to the Maldives" and "ruined" the holiday that they had saved thousands for.

Speaking to, the couple revealed that members of the celebrity group broke the five star beach resort's strict rules by eating in the luxury restaurants in their swimwear and leaving dirty nappies on the beach.

They said: "They were screaming and shouting. The noise was awful.

"We had been told to dress appropriately in the restaurants and bar areas but these girls were parading round in bikinis and g-strings.

"Members of staff would dread them coming in. When they left the whole island breathed a sigh of relief."

The wedding party took over the resort, with other guests being banned from certain areas of the hotel as Billie, her sister Sam Faiers, and their friends and family were filming for their ITVBe TV series.

The couple added: "They didn't have to pay for any of the drinks and cocktails and they abused it.

"We also saw them leave dirty nappies on the beach, discard their rubbish and have loud water fights.

"One morning we were looking at some sharks after breakfast and some of them started throwing stones at them."

The couple were also among the guests to have shelled out for a luxury sandbank villa only to be unable to use it for five hours on the day of Billie and Greg's wedding as they had chosen to tie the knot on the sandbank.

A holidaymaker previously told The Sun Online that 33-year-old Greg called a hotel guest a "c***" as they took a photo of Billie in her bridal gown while they tried to regain access to their villa.

An onlooker told us that hotel security were forced to intervene after Greg and one of his friends turned nasty.

They said: "The couple were refused entry into their own villa because of this wedding ceremony taking place right outside it.

"People have paid many thousands of pounds for their dream holiday and so they tried to walk past them all but the groom, Greg, and some other guests turned aggressive and starting using abusive and obscene foul language.";

They added: "Greg then called the woman a c*** because she took a picture of the bride, as you naturally would do - then things then started to escalate."

"Luckily for everyone else the hotel security intervened."

Another holidaymaker slammed the wedding party's "arrogance and flagrant disregard for others".

They raged at the time: "They are just concerned about themselves and how to make their image look good.

"They have not apologised for their behaviour nor the loss of island facilities which have been closed exclusively for them."

They also revealed that holidaymakers who have paid thousands for their trip are "felt to be like second class citizens as the wedding party gets priority".

Slamming their "mobbish pack mentality", they added: "The hotel is struggling to put a lid on this yobbish and ugly behaviour."

We also revealed that Billie's drunk stepdad had been kicked off Maldives flight and passengers had endured a 13-hour journey from hell because of the group's "bad behaviour".

A source on the flight told us: "It was horrendous.

"Far from showing any remorse about the delay, they exhibited the worst ever qualities of Englishman abroad."

Billie has since claimed that her wedding party were "very respectful" and insisted that she had no complaints.
