CHANNEL 4's Hunted is facing 173 Ofcom complaints after viewers branded the show a "fix".
The controversial finale was blasted by fans who accused the hunters of cheating after they caught all the fugitives.
It was the first time in the show's history that they had all been caught.
After ranting about the result online, many flocked to Ofcom on Febuary 14 to claim the programme was "materially misleading".
One said: "everyone should complain to Ofcom!!! #ofcom @Ofcom #hunted @Hunted_HQ ... May do one myself."
Another added: "@Ofcom what a complete farce the ending of #hunted was @Channel4 have conned all the viewers and should be forced to pay up!! What a joke - needs looking into!!"
Someone else said: "Surely with all this complaining about how it will absolutely unfair @Ofcom should look into this tv show... ridiculously staged and unfair #Hunted."
Despite this, Ofcom said in its latest report that the complaints were not taken any further "because they did not raise issues warranting investigation".
Fans were left in disbelief when the extraction point ended up being on a car park roof.
They claimed it would have been “impossible” for the contestants to win.
One fan fumed: “Invested 6 hours of my life on this year’s #Hunted for a security guard to give away the extraction location and make it impossible for anyone to win.”
While another demanded: “To theHunted team, you have to pay those top lads, Nate & Frank. They made, you owe them - impossible task, cough up guys - they won #Hunted”
One user questioned the hunters’ methods, tweeting: “Isnt it cheating if you literally just sit at the extraction point... like what are the contestants supposed to do? Have a massive game of tag on the roof whilst the helicopter lands? #hunted”
For viewers it seemed too easy for the hunters to suddenly swoop in and capture the remaining contestants.
Ish was the first to get caught after his bike got a puncture and he had to stop under a bridge.
The hunters were keen to get their hands on his notebook and used it to recover information.
After taking him in for questioning, they offered him £4,000 to give up the extraction point but Ish stood firm and told them he wouldn’t betray his fellow fugitives.
On making it to Birmingham the hunters quickly caught up with Harry, and just narrowly captured Nate and Frank as they made their way to the top of the car park.
