Emmerdale fans emotional over Paddy Kirk’s tearful reaction to Chas Dingle’s baby news

EMMERDALE viewers have been left in tears of joy at Paddy Kirk's reaction to finding out Chas Dingle is pregnant.

After a week of trying and failing to find the perfect moment to tell Paddy the happy news, Chas ended up just blurting it out to him.

As he walked in with his head full of the vets' accounts, she practically shouted: "Paddy I'm pregnant."

As he became emotional at the news Chas panicked and said: "I didn't want it to come out like that.

"Oh God I'm so sorry Paddy. I wanted to make it special."

But Paddy was more than alright as he cried with happiness at the news.

He told her: "Don't be sorry, shush.

"This is special, this is perfect. This is brilliant, I'm so happy. Sorry, I was really preoccupied. Are we going to have another little baby?"

Chas told him: "We're going to be a mummy and daddy again."

She later told him: "I've told Laurel, sorry but it's early days so I really think we should hold back on telling other people.

"There is a small chance it could happen again but the chance is so tiny Paddy, I'm not even going there and I don't want you to either.

"Don't get me wrong, we're allowed to worry but we've got to be positive. Let's make this the best experience we can for us and for Grace."

The pregnancy comes just months after the couple lost their baby Grace shortly after she was born.

Viewers were left in tears at the scenes with one writing: "Paddy is the cutest! #Emmerdale"

Another added: "No need for Paddy to be making me cry like this."
