JON IN LOVE STORM

Comic Jon Culshaw snapped getting cosy and holding hands with Channel 5 host Storm Huntley

IF there’s anyone who knows how to make a good impression, it’s Jon Culshaw.

The Dead Ringers comic used his skills to woo a TV host almost 20 years his junior following a London awards ceremony on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old impressionist left the Television And Radio Industries Club’s bash with Jeremy Vine's Channel 5 co-host Storm Huntley, after they had spent three hours flirting with each other.

The pair were drinking together and holding hands at the Red Room bar following the awards, with Jon even showing off some of his impressions.

A source said: “Jon and Storm couldn’t keep away from each other following the awards. They headed straight to the Red Room where they quickly began knocking back cocktails together and joking about.

“At one point Jon was even teaching Storm impressions and she just looked infatuated with him. They were nearly the last two people left in the bar before they got into a cab and headed into Soho. They left looking very much like an item.”

Jon, whose past impersonations include Tony Blair and Ozzy Osbourne, previously enjoyed a short-lived relationship with presenter and stylist Josie Smith.

The comic, who is now single, is also an amateur astronomer and has been busy this week hosting his own show about the night sky at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, South East London.

Scots presenter Storm, 32, appears on Jeremy’s topical debate show on weekday mornings, and answers the phone calls during the programme.

At least Jon will know how to get hold of Storm if he forgot to get her number.

Her trip comes after she drew praise for her West End performance as Roxie Hart in Chicago earlier this year.

And Caroline has clearly been making the most of her time in the city, having been to an Elton John gig and Fleetwood Mac concert on consecutive nights.

The TV presenter, getting over her broken romance with Andrew Brady, has recently been linked to eligible bachelors including Strictly’s AJ Pritchard.

And Caroline looks the happiest she’s ever been in this Instagram snap

Hunt for a hit single

DANI Dyer and Jack Fincham's ill-fated romance is about as good as it gets for Love Island when it comes to creating couples. But ITV bosses are just as keen to show all the break-ups – so much so that they’re launching an inverted version of the hit reality programme.

Singletown will see five couples purposely split up for a summer so they can experience single life. Each of them will move into luxury flats in London before going on a series of dates. At the end of the summer, the couples will decide whether to stay single or go back to their partner.

A source said: “Some of Love Island’s most dramatic scenes last year were when the couples were sent to separate villas and then had to decide whether or not to stay together.

“Singletown is going to be very much similar to that and equally as intense. The cameras will be on all of the individuals as they experience a summer of fun. But for the five couples going through it, the stakes are high and the jeopardy is real.”

The show will be shown on ITV2 later this year and is made by the team behind BBC drama The A Word. I hope they can get Love Island voiceover king Iain Stirling on board for commentary.

Harry's identity crisis

HARRY Redknapp warmed the heart of the nation with his outpourings of love for wife Sandra on I’m A Celebrity. But his devotion nearly got him in trouble filming Harry’s Heroes: The Full English.

The ITV programme was in a spot of bother when Harry turned up at the airport for their Spanish summer camp with Sandra’s passport. He didn’t realise until he was at the check-in desk.

A source said: “Everyone was in hysterics, but luckily Harry managed to rectify things and get his own passport in the nick of time.”

The two-parter, on next Monday and Tuesday at 9pm, sees Harry round up a team of Nineties English football legends, including Chris Waddle, in an attempt to get them back into shape.

He might have got away with Chris’s passport.
