CORRIE’S Dolly-Rose Campbell, who plays Gemma Winter in the long-running ITV soap, is streets away in the glam stakes from her on-screen alter ego.

The actress loves to dress up, travel and post photos of her adorable dog, Christie.

31-year-old Dolly-Rose has revealed before in an interview that she and her on-screen persona are completely different.

She said: “We have a very different dress sense and I like to spend time chilling out with my dog!”

While naughty Gemma is often seen propping up the bar in the Rover’s Return, Dolly prefers to sip a Manhattan - in Manhattan!

The petite star shared a series of snaps from her holiday to New York from over the festive period.

Looking radiant, Dolly could be seen dressed up in a short blonde wig, low-cut top and heavy make-up.

The actress also shared photos of her seeing the sights, such as Coney Island and the historic Stonewall Inn.

Dolly came out earlier as bisexual earlier this year and has since been named as an ambassador for Manchester Pride.

Speaking to the Daily Star, she said: “I have been coming to pride for over a decade now.
