EMMERDALE viewers are refusing to watch the soap anymore after paedophile Maya Stepney told Jacob Gallagher she loved him as he struggled with the weight of her abuse.

The twisted teacher - who is played by actress Louisa Clein in the ITV show - insisted she loved Jacob as he tried to put an end to her abuse over the struggle he is suffering after being groomed and abused by her.

Maya has sunk to new lows

"I need you Jacob, do you even understand that? I'm an intelligent woman, I've travelled the world, I have a great career. I thought I had my life under control but what you're doing to me, playing games, accusing me of playing games.

"I only want you," she said as Jacob was heartbroken over her sleeping with his dad last night.

She hit back, manipulating him: "Oh for God's sake Jacob open your eyes, I love you."

It was too much for viewers who vowed to stop watching the soap over the disturbing scenes.

They were left outraged last night as they heard Maya Stepney making loud sex noises as she bedded schoolboy Jacob Gallagher's stepdad in a bid to make the teen jealous.

Maya, played by Louisa Clein, stepped up her abuse of the youngster last night when he was left devastated by her romp with his dad as he returned from school.

Before the 16-year-old, played by Joe Warren-Plant, arrived home, scenes showed the paedophile reconciling with her boyfriend David, whom she had a blazing row with earlier in the day about her missing earring.

With Jacob's stepdad growing suspicious of the teen and about to accuse him of stealing, Maya became defensive of her missing jewellery and appeared to panic that her grooming plot may about to be uncovered.

After storming off and turning the tables on David, the pair later reconciled at the shop before the teacher locked the shop door and led him upstairs.

But as the Jacob arrived home from school with Liv Flaherty, he was met with an unwelcome surprise as he heard the faint sounds of his abuser giggling as she fumbled around with his stepdad.

Liv questioned if David and Maya were 'at it'

"What was that?" asked Liv.As the sounds became clearer the schoolboy appeared to look hurt as he realised what was going on upstairs, which led Liv to ask if his dad was "at it" upstairs.

Following the scenes many angry fans took to Twitter to voice their disgust.

One wrote: "Maya turns things around with David very easily and they wind up doing the dirty upstairs and Jacob (with Liv) hears them. Her doing both is [sick] #Emmerdale"

Another fan added: "Dear @emmerdale. I genuinely commend you for tackling the grooming/abuse story with Jacob and Maya. I really do. But I also hope it's going to end very, very soon."

While others began pointing out how she was stepping up the abuse to include David now too.

One wrote: "It seems like Maya's also starting to abuse David judging by tonight. Turning on him, making him apologise and doubt himself, trying to stop him innocently interacting with other women. Scary. #Emmerdale"

A second commented: "OMG is it just me or is Maya brainwashing David now as well  @emmerdale #Emmerdale"

The actress behind the twisted teacher hit back at negative comments about Maya's grooming storyline during an appearance on Lorraine yesterday.

She revealed: "There's a lot more of the story to tell but it's moving towards an end."

Louisa added: "It has been tough for me to play, it's been a real challenge, but I'm here to get that word out there."
