EMMERDALE fans are convinced Joe Tate is alive after the dropped the biggest hint yet.
The hunky businessman - who is played by actor Ned Porteous in the ITV soap - was seemingly murdered by Graham Foster in October after his step-mother Kim demanded he kill him.
And while Graham tricked Cain Dingle into believing he had murdered Joe, causing him months of guilt and a tragic feud with daughter Debbie, his behaviour in tonight's episode has caused them to rethink what they know.
He behaved very suspiciously when Kim began digging into Joe's death, convinced Graham had let something fall by the wayside, putting her at risk.
She decided to deal with Cain herself and told Graham: "You let your personal feelings for Joe cloud your judgement. It made you weak Graham, and I don't like that. I need to know I can rely on you when the going gets tough."
He insisted there was no evidence left to find, adding: "There are no loose ends, nothing that can be traced back here and nothing that can be connected to you."
She went to see Cain and threatened him, telling him he would be facing a prison sentence unless he complied with her orders.
And later she turned her attentions to Graham, and told him she was about to go through the accounts to find any potential dodgy dealings he had been up to.
But after telling him this, she ended up discovering some mystery withdrawals from some offshore accounts of hers.
"Must have been part of Nicola and Robert's scam. I must have missed a few payments. Won't happen again, I'll sort it."
But after telling him he had until next week to find the money, she left the room and went to watch him on a secret camera she had installed.
Kim watched as Graham pulled out a phone and made a phone call to a mysterious individual, telling him: "We've got a problem. We're going to need another plan."
As Kim reacted with shock, viewers became convinced it was Joe Tate on the other end of the phone.
One wrote: "Still think Joe's alive."
A second added: "Was that just a clue that Joe is still alive?!?!?"
Another tweeted: "After that episode, I’ve never been more convinced - Joe is alive!"
