Emmerdale spoilers: Aiesha Jutla ruffles feathers with return to the village as Rishi and Manpreet announce they got married

JAI Sharma will be horrified in Emmerdale next week as ditzy Aiesha Jutla returns to the village.

Aiesha – who is the daughter of Manpreet Jutla – and Jai went on a doomed date last year while Jai’s dad Rishi tried to woo Manpreet.

Manpreet and Rishi return from their holiday with some exciting news, but just as they’re about to spill the tea, Aiesha arrives with some news of her own.

She reveals she’s been dumped and thrown out by her boyfriend. Aiesha then drops a huge bombshell as she tells the gathered family that she’s coming to live with them.

Jai – played by Chris Bisson - goes apoplectic at Manpreet’s high maintenance daughter’s news and he hasn’t even heard Rishi’s additional news yet.

Later Rishi and Manpreet make their announcement – they got married while they were in Las Vegas!

The brown stuff really hits the fan at Holdgate then, with Jai worried that shopping addict Manpreet is only after his factory-owner dad’s money. It’s safe to say life at the Sharma household is going to be a bit rocky for the foreseeable future.

But later Priya – Fiona Wade – is flattered by Aiesha’s interest in her work and Aiesha suggests they throw a huge party for Rishi and Manpreet to celebrate their wedding.

Priya is charmed by Aiesha and proposes that she starts working at the factory.
