Emmerdale spoilers: Vanessa Woodfield humiliated as Charity Dingle goes on a date with dodgy businessman Mike
The vet is gutted even though her fiancée promises her the rendezvous is strictly business
THEY haven’t been engaged for very long but Vanessa Woodfield and Charity Dingle’s relationship is in trouble next week in Emmerdale when Charity goes on a date with a dodgy businessman – leaving Vanessa feeling humiliated.
When Robert Sugden meets up with a potentially lucrative client, Charity – played by Emma Atkins - recognises him from the old days and warns Robert and his husband Aaron Dingle that he’s bad news.
But Charity, never one to miss an opportunity to earn some easy money, agrees to help Robert win the businessman – Mike’s – contract.
She assures Vanessa – Michelle Hardwick - that the stunt is strictly business but Vanessa is left feeling humiliated when she discovers Charity is going with Mike to a swanky awards ceremony as his date.
Charity turns her flirt-o-meter up to full as she tries to work her magic on Mike and Vanessa is far from impressed.
Later, she overhears Mike plotting to double cross Charity. Will Vanessa be able to put a stop to it?
Charity and Vanessa- affectionately called Vanity by fans of the ITV soap – got engaged in January after Charity popped the question to her long-term girlfriend.
Viewers were delighted as Charity sabotaged the proposal of a loaded businessman by locking him in a cupboard.
The toff had hired Home Farm to propose to his own girlfriend but when he snapped at Charity about some peacocks, she decided to highjack his special moment.
Vanessa was stunned as Charity ushered her onto a horse-drawn carriage and dropped down on one knee, while the angry millionaire chased after them.
