Peter Andre shocks fans with ‘Edward Scissorhands hair’ in ’90s throwback
PETER Andre has been compared to Edward Scissorhands after he posted a '90s throwback photo that saw him show off a very questionable hairdo.
The 46-year-old singer jokingly begged for forgiveness as he shared the old school snap.
In the picture, Peter is showing off his muscles in a string vest that he has teamed with a beaded necklace.
The bronzed hunk has his shaggy, black hair wet over his face and is staring seductively into the camera.
The father-of-four captioned the image: "I can’t even explain this #tbt #throwbackthursday.
"Please forgive."
Peter's followers were stunned by the snap, and were quick to comment to share their thoughts on his '90s style.
One tickled fan wrote: "Who the hell told you to do that shot? So funny!
"We live and learn! Good on you for posting it."
Another added: "Yikes, the hair! I'm in tears!"
A third quipped: "You look like Edward Scissorshands."
This is a reference to Tim Burton's 1990 film of the same name, which sees Johnny Depp play the titular character - a science-made creation with pale skin, messy black hair, and scissors for hands.
Peter found international fame in 1996 following the release of his hit record Mysterious Girl.
The star had a brief time away from the limelight before returning to the celeb circuit in 2004 for ITV reality series I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
