EMMERDALE fans are convinced that Lisa Dingle will die on the same day that Chas gives birth in a heartbreaking new theory.

Jane Cox, 66, shocked fans earlier this month when she reprised her role of Lisa - returning to the 'Dales for her final scenes after it was announced that she will be leaving the ITV soap for good after 20 years.

The beloved character will be killed off after suffering from a terminal heart condition, and viewers think that her passing will coincide with a new arrival.

Chas and Paddy were overjoyed to learn that they are expecting again after being left devastated when their baby Grace died when doctors discovered that she was suffering from bilateral renal agenesis - which meant that she could not survive outside of the womb.

Taking to social media, fans shared their poignant prediction.

One tweeted: "What ya betting Chas has the baby the same day that Lisa dies?"

One viewer quipped: "What's the betting, Paddy and Chas's baby birth coincides with Lisa's death!"
