Mel B reveals she had sex with Geri Halliwell and says ‘her husband will kill me’ — putting Spice Girls reunion tour at risk
MEL B has revealed she enjoyed a steamy one-night stand with fellow Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.
Bisexual Mel, 43, also raved about her pal’s “great boobs”.

Until now their romp had been so hush-hush that Mel had left it out of her upcoming autobiography Brutally Honest.
But pressed by host Piers, she admitted: “She (Geri) is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in her country house and her husband, but it’s a fact.
“It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it.
“We were best friends. Have you ever done that?” And she added of Geri: “She had great boobs.”

Piers asked: “So just once?” Mel replied: “Yeah.”
Triumphant Piers added: “This is a bombshell. A Spice Girls bombshell. You have never admitted this before have you? People are going to be fascinated.”
Mel said: “Yeah and I have said it now. All done. She is going to kill me and so is her husband.”
She added: “Hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won’t deny it, because it was just a thing, a fun thing.”
'It happened, we giggled & that was it'
PIERS: There were rumours you and Geri were more than just good friends. You had a little dabble?
Anything you want to share with the group?
MEL: (Long silence).
PIERS: No denial?
MEL: She had great boobs.
PIERS: So you did?
MEL: Well, not really . . .
PIERS: Well, you clearly did, right? Yes?
Mel looks to Mel C in the audience for support who says: “I don’t know anything” to which Mel B replies: “Oh, whatever Mel.”
Mel C replies: “This is all new to me.”
PIERS: Your book is called Brutally Honest and you are coming here to be brutally honest?
Did you or didn’t you with Geri Halliwell?
MEL: Well, what do you consider as doing it or not?
PIERS: Did you sleep with her?
MEL: Yeah, we all slept in a bed together but not “like that” all of us.
PIERS: Did you sleep with Geri “like that”?
MEL: (nods and smiles).
PIERS: Yes? Really?
MEL: She’s going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house and her husband. But it’s a fact. It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it.
PIERS: How many times a day?
MEL: Stop it, you pervert!
PIERS: Did it go on for a while? Were you in love?
MEL: We were best friends. It just happened. Have you ever done that?
PIERS: Yeah, but not with the same sex.
MEL: Maybe with a lady that’s a friend. It just happens one time, you talk about it and it doesn’t really happen again.
PIERS: So just once?
MEL: Yeah.
PIERS: This is a Spice Girls bombshell. You have never admitted this before have you? People are going to be fascinated.
MEL: Yeah and I’ve said it now. All done. She’s going to kill me and so’s her husband. She’s not that posh now, is she?
PIERS: Shall we leave it there? Fascinating.
MEL: I love awkward. We can go on like this all night.
PIERS: Anything with Mel C?
MEL: Well, when I got my tongue pierced we all kissed. But that was just a kiss because I wanted to know what it felt like. It was just a silly kiss. Nothing sexual like that.
PIERS: Not like you and Geri?
MEL: It was just that once.
PIERS: But we did not know about that one time. You just revealed it.
MEL: Yeah, all right. I’m an honest person. I didn’t put it in my book because that wasn’t what my book was about. It was brutally honest in a different way.
And hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won’t deny it. Because it was just a fun thing.
PIERS: You gave me an honest answer and I applaud you for it.

Sources say Mel made a panicked phone call to apologise to Geri straight after the show.
Geri, 46, wed Red Bull team boss Christian in 2015 and has said: “To be married to Christian is everything I ever wanted.”
A source said: “The girls all know Mel struggles to keep her mouth shut but Mel C who was in the audience was visibly horrified when it all came out.
“The tour is just two months’ away they don’t want anything jeopardising it, but there were real fears this would upset Geri’s husband and cause serious issues.

“Since marrying Christian, Geri has worked hard to shake off her old playgirl image and sort of reinvent herself as this perfect Stepford Wife. Mel immediately rang Geri to try to repair the damage.”
Mel kept coy on precise details about their night of passion.
But The Sun on Sunday can reveal it happened shortly after the newlyformed Spices moved into a shared house in Maidenhead, Berks, in the mid 1990s.
And sources close to the pair have insisted it was not a one-off as Mel proclaimed.

At the time Mel and former nude model Geri would regularly jet off on holidays without the rest of the group after forming a close bond with their outlandish personalities.
During the Piers show, Mel B also owned up to snogging Mel C to test out a new tongue piercing, adding: “It was just a silly kiss. Nothing sexual like that.”
Mel B has been open about her fluid sexuality, previously revealing she had a relationship with a woman for five years.
She told Piers it had been her happiest romance, and did not rule out settling down with a woman following her bitter divorce from husband of ten years Stephen Belafonte, 43.

Meanwhile Geri’s exes include DJ Chris Evans, Robbie Williams, David Walliams, Duncan James and Russell Brand.
She got engaged to Demian Warner, a wealthy American whom she met in residential rehab in 2002, and again in 2009 to Italian businessman Fabrizio Politi.
She started dating Christian from February 2014.
The Spice Girls, including Emma Bunton, are set to pocket £2.2million each — £418,000 per show — from their short reunion tour.

They broke the news of the reunion by transforming into their alter egos — Baby, Ginger, Sporty and Scary — and performing their 1997 hit Spice Up Your Life.
They will wrap up at Wembley Stadium on June 15 — 21 years after they played the iconic venue as part of their Spice World tour.
The band last hit the road in 2008 for The Return Of The Spice Girls world tour. A source added of their new dates: “There’s a lot of money riding on this.”

MEL B has spoken of her fiery relationship with Geri at the semi they shared in the band’s early days.
The girls, then known as Torch, had a relentless schedule of singing and dance rehearsals.
Tensions were high amid fears bosses could drop them.
In autobiography Catch A Fire, Mel B said the pair could “like boyfriend and girlfriend . . . we could have horrific arguments, always knowing we’d make up.
"We got irritated over the slightest things and swore like fishwives at each other.
“Our arguments went off with such a bang. At times you’d have thought she’d cheated with my boyfriend or something.”
The pair would stay at the house at weekends while the others went home.
Mel wrote: “Sometimes Geri and I went to bed on Saturday afternoon, got up around 2am and went on an all-nighter at (London club) Ministry of Sound.
“We used to drive down the motorway with our boobs out. It was hysterical.”

MEL B has jokingly claimed she has bedded all the Spice Girls.
I’ve never believed that — but her fling with Geri was well on the cards.
They once called each other soulmates and it took years for Mel to get over the “betrayal” of Geri quitting without confiding in her first.
With two months until the tour, fans will be praying it won’t take so long for them to bounce back from this lovers’ tiff.
