Emmerdale’s Debbie Dingle FINALLY finds out her fiance Joe Tate is alive tonight
Everyone else found out about his shocking resurrection last week
DEBBIE Dingle will find out that her fiance Joe Tate is alive in tonight's Emmerdale.
The mechanic - who is played by actress Charley Webb in the ITV soap - has been kept in the dark about Joe faking his own death.
She will arrive back from her holiday with daughter Sarah to be told the news.
Her reaction is being kept a closely guarded secret but fans have speculated Debbie could run away to be with Joe to coincide with actress Charley's upcoming maternity leave.
She is expecting her third baby with husband Matthew Wolfenden and will soon leave the show temporarily.
Fans think Debbie is going to hunt down Joe, after it was made clear in last night's episode he will never return to the village.
Viewers were left devastated last night at Joe Tate’s final appearance on the soap after Graham Foster called him to say final goodbye.
It came after Graham told police that Joe was alive in an effort to protect him from Kim,
The Emmerdale villain had previously threatened to murder her step-grandson again in an effort to frame Cain for the crime properly.
But Cain was told by the Police that they had heard from Joe and he was alive and well.
Later in the episode, fans were left saddened when Graham made a last final call to Joe before destroying the only phone that he could contact him on.
Graham looked devastated as he left him a message on his answerphone, where he told him to "have a nice life" and saying it would be his last phone call to him.
Fans couldn't believe this was the last time Joe would be contacted, and one tweeted: "This is it #JoeTate #Emmerdale [followed by crying emojis]"
While this one said: "Joe's never coming back #emmerdale"
Another tweeted: "Aww Graham calling Joe #emmerdale [followed by crying emojis]"
The Sun revealed last week how Emmerdale star Andrew Scarborough revealed how Joe wouldn't be back on the show.
The actor - who plays Graham Foster in the ITV soap - spoke about his relief at finally being able to speak about Joe being alive after keeping the secret for months.
But sadly for soap fans, he also revealed the tragic truth of Graham's breakdown after helping Joe hide from his murderous step-grandmother Kim Tate - he will never return to the village.
Joe was last seen in pictures withdrawing money from one of the Tate family accounts in Monte Carlo after he and Graham faked his murder.
Andrew said: "The reason why Graham was very upset when Joe seemingly died is because he knew then that he would never see Joe again."
He added: "I always knew Joe was still alive and was getting tired of being asked all the time, and being accused of murder!
"Kim ordered Graham to bump off Joe but when Cain thought he’d killed him, Graham saw an opportunity to cover up his own cover up.
"He let Joe go, but when you saw Graham with the gun it was to protect him so he could get away safely, but he reckoned if Kim returned she might hear on the grapevine Cain was up for murdering Joe to deflect attention from Graham."
