Could Flakefleet Primary School win Britain’s Got Talent? David Walliams’ Golden Buzzer act brought him to tears

FLAKEFLEET Primary School will be performing on Britain's Got Talent one last time tonight in the hope of winning the 2019 series.

Could the children's choir that brought judge David Walliams to tears really be in with a chance of taking home the BGT trophy? Here's their journey so far...

Who are Flakefleet Primary School?

The kids' choir from Flakefleet Primary School is led by headteacher Dave McPartlin (absolutely no relation to Ant, by the way)

The aspiring singers are aged between 4 and 11 and have a variety of singing abilities.

The one thing they have in common though is an overwhelming display of enthusiasm and joy as they belted out Queen's Don't Stop Me Now in their audition.

Also one of the children dressed up as Dec sat in a bin - so cuteness overload from the talented youngsters.

The choir received the Golden Buzzer from judge David Walliams, who was reduced to tears by their moving performance, putting them straight into the semi-finals.

What happened in their semi-final?

The choir stormed on to the BGT stage singing I Need A Hero - with Mr McAPartlin appearing in a frock before transforming into a super-hero character.

The children danced and sang in fancy dress costumes, and even had "Ant" pushing a pram with "Dec" sitting it.

They gave Golden Buzzer judge David Walliams a gold crown to wear and showered Simon Cowell in silver confetti.

The choir took part in the first semi-final with magic act Dave and Finn winning the show in the public vote.

The judges then had to choose between The Haunting and Flakefleet - with the choir getting three out of the four votes.

When is the Britain's Got Talent 2019 final on TV?

The BGT final will take place tonight on Sunday, June 2.

The winner will be crowned just before the news at 10.05pm.

The final follows a week of live semi-finals - 7.30pm-9pm on ITV - where two acts each night make it through from the public vote.

At the end of the week, the judges chose a wildcard act to go into the final - Libby and Charlie.

Flakefleet were the second act to make it through to the final after Dave and Finn won the first semi-final.
