REPORTS that the Spice Girls have scrapped their world tour amid the Mel B and Geri Horner lesbian sex claims have been slammed as "inaccurate and factually untrue" by the band's rep.
It was previously claimed that the iconic girl group had been lining up concerts in America, Australia, and the Far East after their UK dates, but plans had been scuppered following the recent sex scandal.
reported that the group had been thrown into turmoil after Mel B, 43, revealed she had a lesbian fling with Geri, 46, in the '90s – something which Ginger Spice denies.
The publication went on to add that the girls had decided to honour their British gigs but pulled the plug on plans for any international concerts once the UK tour ends on June 15.
However, a rep for the girl group told The Sun Online: "This story is inaccurate and factually untrue."
A source had previously told The Mail: "It has been a hugely dramatic week. At one point last Sunday, the tour wasn’t happening.
"They agreed that they had to do the British dates because they are under contract and they don’t want to let their fans down, but there won’t be any more.
"There had been plans to keep it going but no more."
Meanwhile, Mel C and Emma Bunton are understood to be desperate to smooth things between the pair after it was claimed that Geri is refusing to be in the same room as her bandmate.
According to magazine, Emma, 43, and Mel C, 45, are desperately trying to salvage the band's up-coming tour following Mel B's sex bombshell.
A source told the magazine: "The gigs are going ahead no matter what, but all the girls are prepared for more epic rows.
"At the moment Geri doesn't even want to be in the same room as Mel B. There's no way more worldwide dates will be added."
Last Sunday, Geri issued a statement denying the liaison and had found the claims "very hurtful" - but Mel B has since slammed Geri for "making her out to be a liar".
Mel B dropped the revelation during an interview on Piers Morgan's Life Stories - with a shocked Mel C looking on in the audience.
Scary Spice reportedly called Geri straight after the interview to smooth things over, but after Piers played the clip on Good Morning Britain, Geri was no longer cool with it.
According to the source, Geri felt as though "she had been thrown under a bus by a friend" and the band are totally on Geri's side.
The source continued: "This wasn't a slip of the tongue. The other girls genuinely had no idea that Mel was planning to tell this story, but they think she made a conscious decision to deliver it that night.
"Mel loves a controversy. She can't help stroking a fire and sitting back and watching what happens. She has always been the same," they added.
