Emmerdale’s paedo teacher Maya Stepney thinks she has a ‘future’ with Jacob says actress Louisa Clein

EMMMERDALE'S Louisa Clein has revealed paedophile teacher Maya Stepney believes she has a "future" with teen Jacob Gallagher.

The 40-year-old star, who plays the horrific villain on the ITV soap, added that her character believes she and her teenager lover could have a fairytale ending.

Speaking to , she said: "Jacob gives her what she needs, and she genuinely believes that they could have a future together."

However, Louisa's character is in for a major shock when Jacob ends their relationship after she refuses to dump his dad David.

The schoolboy tells Maya it's over in tonight's episode as he struggles to cope with the guilt of their secret romance.

The drama unfolds when Maya pays Jacob a visit after he fails to turn up at school.

She tells him: "You weren't in class earlier, I was worried about you."

When Jacob admits he "can't face it", the manipulative teacher says she "can't bear" to see Jacob so unhappy and wishes they could do things differently.

But fed up with Maya's empty promises, Jacob hits back: "Then do something about it.

"I hate what we're doing to Liv and my dad. We need to tell them the truth."

Scared that Jacob will expose their affair, Maya frantically responds: "We can't, not yet. I'll go to prison."

The teen tells her he's sick of her excuses and threatens to end their romance if she isn't willing to come clean.

Seemingly wising up to Maya's behaviour, he slams: "You'll never be with me the way I want you to.

Desperate to keep her teen lover on side, she pleads: "If you love me the way that I love you, how can you even say that?"

Jacob then affirms: "I'm done, Maya. It's over," but will he stick to his word?
