Twisted teacher Maya has been sleeping with schoolboy Jacob over the past few months and viewers have had enough
EMMERDALE viewers rejoiced tonight as paedo teacher Maya Stepney and Jacob Gallagher were FINALLY caught when Liv Flaherty found them in bed together.
Over the last few months fans have been left horrified as school teacher Maya (Louisa Clein) has repeatedly slept with her pupil Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) and have called for the storyline to end.
But this evening they were thrilled when the schoolgirl found a semi-naked Jacob in his bedroom with his teacher, who was putting her clothes back on.
In tonight's two-part episode it all kicked off when Liv was left reeling when she offered Jacob sex and he turned her down before dumping her.
Wanting to get answers she headed to Jacob’s house, only to overhear him confessing undying love to Maya.
Jacob then wandered out of his room semi-dressed and Liv demanded to know who he was cheating on her with.
She burst into his room and was gobsmacked when she saw teacher Maya straightening out her clothes in his room.
Jacob tried to talk to Liv but ended up confessing that he and Maya had been having a relationship.
Maya then took over and tried to convince Liv that she’d got the wrong end of the stick, but Liv wasn’t buying it.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to share their glee at the illegal couple being caught out at last.

Later Maya told Jacob they’d have to make sure everyone believed that and not Liv if she opened her mouth about what she saw.
Maya stole bottles of vodka from the store at the shop and told David that former alcoholic Liv had been drinking again.Jacob backed up her story and said that Liv had been drinking again since shortly after they got together.
Meanwhile Liv told Robert Sugden that she could tell everyone about what she saw but he convinced her that it wouldn’t change anything and that Jacob wasn’t worth it - however she didn't reveal it was Maya that Jacob was with.
Later, Robert and Liv’s brother Aaron Dingle revealed they would need to take a loan out to pay Natalie – a potential surrogate – and Liv had an idea.She met Maya after dark and – while Maya told her that she and Jacob had told David she was back on the booze – Liv pointed out that Maya had more to lose.Liv then told Maya she’d keep quiet for £5k.
Earlier today we revealed how Emmerdale viewers have complained the soap is 50 per cent underage sex and have revealed they are writing to MPs to complain about the ongoing paedo plot.
The storyline has been one of the soaps most talked about for years and has left to numerous Ofcom complaints.
The soap now faces investigation after getting nearly 90 formal complaints to the regulator.
