Emmerdale’s Harriet gets cornered by her stalker – but who is it, what do they want and is she in danger?
The vicar has been plagued by creepy phone calls after having her home and church vandalised last week
EMMERDALE vicar Harriet Finch has landed herself a stalker in the ITV soap. She’s been attacked and robbed and has also had her house broken into.
Now she’s getting creepy calls at home and at the church. But who’s behind the campaign of terror? Here’s what we know…
Who is stalking Harriet Finch in Emmerdale?
Dawn Taylor is the obvious suspect as she and Harriet had argued in the Woolpack after Harriet accidentally got her fired from her job at the factory.
Pearl Ladderbanks pointed out that Dawn didn’t come home the night after Harriet’s attack, which raised a few eyebrows. But it was later revealed that she had stayed at Ryan Stocks’ house for the night.
But Dawn was incredulous when Bob Hope accused her, telling Harriet she was leaving and she was no friend of hers. She asked Ryan if she could stay with him again.
Another theory is that the stalker could be Ryan himself, after revenge on Dawn’s – who he’s besotted with – behalf. But as Dawn was with him on the night of the attack, they would have to be in it together.
Don’t forget that Harriet used to work for the police before she chucked in her truncheon and found God.
It’s very possible that the stalker is someone she’s upset in the past who has managed to track her down and come for revenge.

Is Harriet in serious danger in Emmerdale?
Possibly. The stalker broke into Harriet’s home and smashed a photo of the vicar, which is pretty creepy.
Harriet seemed shocked when she saw the breakage, throwing the photo away from her. Could the blonde woman in the picture with her be a clue to the stalker’s identity?
The way Harriet locked the door behind her suggests she could know exactly who is terrorising her.
Spoilers have revealed that the stalking ordeal gets worse when Harriet finds the pulpit at the Church vandalised with red paint.
And this week she’ll get a huge shock when she’s trapped in the church. Will she come face-to-face with her stalker then?
