Emmerdale spoilers: Aaron Dingle devastated when his and Robert Sugden’s criminal pasts puts their surrogacy plans in jeopardy
Surrogate Natalie is far from impressed when she finds out Aaron has been in prison
AARON Dingle and Robert Sugden’s baby plans hit the skids again in Emmerdale next week when surrogate Natalie finds out about Aaron and sister Liv Flaherty’s criminal pasts.
Fans of the ITV soap know that both siblings have spent time in prison in the past couple of years.
Aaron – played by Danny Miller – was jailed for a brutal attack on Kasim Sabet while Liv spent time in juvenile detention for spiking Lisa Dingle’s drink with stolen ketamine.
And that’s without even going into Robert’s dodgy past, which actually includes killing Katie Sugden, although he’s never been charged with her death.
Poor Aaron is devastated when it looks like their pasts could cost them the chance of parenthood, but his gran – Faith Dingle – is determined to make Natalie change her mind.
Will she succeed?
Aaron and Robert – Ryan Hawley - have decided to start a family together after getting married – officially - last year.
The couple – nicknamed Robron by Emmerdale fans – have had a rocky road to romance.
While Aaron was in prison, Robert had a drunken one night stand with his ex Rebecca White, which resulted in her falling pregnant.
She gave birth to Robert’s son, Seb, but Aaron couldn’t cope with the reminder that Robert had cheated on him and they ended up splitting.
But they reunited last year, to the joy of the viewers, and finally tied the knot in October.
When Rebecca moved away with Seb, the couple decided to have a baby of their own, but have already ran into several obstacles. Their plans to go to America to find a surrogate were scuppered by the cost.
And this week viewers will see a well-meaning Faith put her foot in it with Natalie, when she makes up elaborate tales about the boys to convince the surrogate that Aaron and Robert will make great parents.
