Emmerdale's Harriet Finch has fans convinced she could potentially die

Emmerdale vicar Harriet Finch has been subjected to a terrifying stalking ordeal in the ITV soap.

But is she going to die? And is actress Katherine Dow Blyton leaving the show?

Here’s the lowdown…

Is Harriet Finch going to die in Emmerdale?

It’s not been confirmed what happens to Harriet in Emmerdale just yet, but we know the vicar is definitely fearing for her life as her stalker continues to torment her.

Fans have seen her attacked and her home broken into.

If that wasn't bad enough, she also had the pulpit at her church vandalised.

She’s now starting getting creepy phone calls of someone heavy breathing down the line at her.

Later this week, she’ll be terrified as she finds herself locked in the church with her stalker. Will they finally come face to face?

Is Katherine Dow Blyton leaving the soap?

Neither Emmerdale or Harriet actress Katherine Dow Blyton have said anything about her leaving the soap.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean that she isn’t. Emmerdale is notorious for springing shock deaths on its audience – even thought they often turn out to not be dead at all like Joe Tate and Rebecca White.

Katherine – who used to star in C4 soap Hollyoaks – hasn’t spoken out about a possible exit for her character, but she has teased the moment she meets her stalker.

When asked if viewers would be surprised when the culprit is finally revealed Katherine said: ‘I hope so.’

She added: ‘One thing that's got to be on Harriet's mind is that it's maybe somebody she's arrested or had dealings with when she was a police officer.”

Emmerdale returns tonight at 7pm on ITV.
