POP superstar Beyoncé has revealed one of her twins’ heartbeat stopped during her traumatic pregnancy.

Speaking in her new bombshell Netflix documentary Homecoming, the diva, 37, also admits the twins were unplanned and her “body went through more than I knew it could.”

She explained: “I was 218 pounds the day I gave birth. I had an extremely difficult pregnancy.

“I had high blood pressure, I developed toxaemia, preeclampsia and in the womb, one of my babies heartbeat paused a few times so I had to get an emergency C-section.”

The documentary includes intimate pictures and video footage from her birthing suite, where she is joined by husband, rapper Jay-Z, 49.

She is seen cradling Rumi and Sir Carter shortly after the birth, while also filmed being transferred to the delivery room in a hospital bed.

Homecoming focuses on the star’s Coachella gig in California last April, which took place ten months after she gave birth to the twins.

The behind-the-scenes footage shows Beyoncé getting into peak physical condition, courtesy of an intense training regime and dance rehearsals where she would lose between 1,500-2,000 calories per session.

She also details her diet put in place in order to fit into her stage outfits.

While holding an apple, Beyoncé said: “In order for me to meet my goal, I’m limiting myself to no bread, no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, no meat, no fish, no alcohol – I’m hungry.”

The singer admits she struggled balancing the intense training regime while also being a parent to six-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and her baby twins.

She added: “It’s not like before when I could rehearse 15 hours straight. I have children, I have a husband, I have to take care of my body.
