The 45-year-old has only been home five days in the last month but took the reigns yesterday while Christine appeared on BBC Breakfast

PADDY McGuinness shared a picture of his daughters watching their mum Christine on TV as he looked after them on a rare day off.

The TV star, who has only been home for five days in the last month, gushed about how proud he was of his wife as she appeared on BBC Breakfast.

Sharing a shot of Penelope and Felicity, he wrote:  “My two baby girls watching their hero @mrscmcguinness on @bbcbreakfast this morning.

“We love you Mummy, keep up the good work. #mummy #hero #bbcbreakfast #autismawareness #bluebadge #goodfriday #twinkleball.”

Christine appeared on the show to discuss the need for Blue Badges for people with hidden disabilities because she has only been able to get one for her son with autism and hypermobility.

She revealed that strangers had demanded to see her disabled parking badge when she has parked in a bay.

The couples’ twins Penelope and Leo, five, were diagnosed in November 2017. Their youngest Felicity, three, has been displaying signs of autism too.

Earlier this month Christine revealed she felt like a “single mum” because of Paddy’s gruelling work schedule.

Speaking to the , she revealed that the 45-year-old has been home just five days in the last month while filming Top Gear.

The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star, said: “I would be lying if I said it’s great. It’s not, it’s really tough.

“At the moment I barely see him. It is getting to the point now where I feel it is overwhelming and too much. I feel like a single parent at times. I keep thinking it will quieten down soon but actually I don’t think it will.

“I think work will be good for Paddy and he’s going to be very, very busy and so I don’t know what we’re going to do.”
