BE GONE BRONN

Game Of Thrones’ Jerome Flynn and Lena Headey NEVER film together on set after bitter end to affair over ten years ago

The HBO stars briefly dated in 2002 and despite both living in the Capital of the Seven Kingdoms have never filmed together

GAME Of Thrones actor Jerome Flynn is never seen on-screen with Lena Headey and there's a good reason for it.

According to historic reports, the pair are no longer on speaking terms after their brief romance ended nearly a decade ago.

In 2014 a member of the show's crew revealed that the pair were 'kept apart at all times' while on set of the hit HBO series.

They told : "Jerome and Lena aren't on speaking terms any more and they are never in the same room at the same time.

"It's a pity because they appeared to patch things up for a while, but now the word is they should be kept apart at all costs."

Jerome, 56, who plays Bronn, and Lena, 45, who plays Cersei Lannister, were first linked in 2002, however have always remained coy about their romance.

Although, they can't have been dating for long as the actor admitted in 2003 that they were no longer a couple.

Jerome said: "We’re not a couple right now, people have seen us together and jumped to conclusions. I can’t rule out a relationship with her in the future, I just don’t know."

With Game Of Thrones having such a large cast, scattered over different areas of the world for filming, it's hard to notice which character's rarely interact.

However, with Jerome's character regularly spotted aiding Cersei's brother Jaime Lannister in Kings Landing, it's hard to understand how the two characters haven't crossed paths in the whole eight seasons.

But eagle-eyed viewers only picked up on Bronn's absence from an important scene when he failed to appear in the season seven finale.

"I've known about this for a while - decently thought out cinematography could've easily taken this into account - so it's not the reason per se,"

They continued: "But what on Earth could've taken place between Flynn & Headey that would cause such animosity over a decade later? Did someone revenge-f*** the others' sibling/mother/father or something?"

Earlier today the actor, who has been on the HBO show since it began in 2011, revealed to ITV's Lorraine that he was shocked that his character Bronn had managed to stay alive through the endless bloodshed.

He said: "There's a few of us that have made it through, I never thought Bronn was going to make eight seasons but the writers enjoyed channelling their sense of humour through him."

"It's his humour saved him ... for me there will never be another show like it."

And the sarcastic sellsword has is still at the centre of plenty of fan theories, as convinced that Bronn will kill a dragon in the series' epic finale.

Game of Thrones continues on Monday 29 April at 9pm on Sky Atlantic and Now TV.
