Louise Redknapp stuns in mini skirt after it was revealed ex-dance partner Kevin Clifton ‘dropped her like a stone’ in Stacey Dooley row
LOUISE Redknapp looked stunning in a denim min skirt and tux-style blazer as she left the Savoy Theatre last night.
The 9 to 5: The Musical star was departing the evening's performance when she posed for photographers after hitting out at former Strictly Come Dancing partner Kevin Clifton.
Popstar Louise wore tights and open toed boots and completed her look with a statement tee and a leather bumbag.
The Sun on Sunday revealed today how Louise has accused him of “ghosting” her — refusing to take her calls — when he got together with Stacey Dooley.
Louise, 44, became “obsessed” with three times-married Kevin during the 2016 series of the hit BBC dance show.
But the pair dramatically fell out after the 36-year-old dancer started dating TV golden girl Stacey, 32.
Louise — who split from former England footballer Jamie in July 2017 — has told friends she is considering complaining to BBC bosses.
A source said: “Louise is seething — she feels used and humiliated by Kevin. They formed an incredibly close bond during Strictly, which grew and grew once the show finished.
“They enjoyed several nights out together, and Kevin became her closest confidant once her marriage to Jamie ended. The pair were in constant contact and basically lived in one another’s pockets for a while.
“He gave Louise the impression he was infatuated with her, and she became pretty obsessed by him.
“In the 2017 series, Kevin was partnered with Susan Calman, but the two never really clicked, so obviously Louise remained incredibly close to Kevin throughout this time.
“But as soon as he got paired with Stacey last year, he stopped returning her calls and effectively ghosted her.
“She even went up to Grimsby in December to support Kevin at a charity fundraiser, but relations soured pretty much from here onward. Louise feels hurt and let down by his actions — she was the famous one and helped bolster his profile.
“Louise was warned about Kevin when they first became friends — she was told he was fame hungry and a social climber.
“Now she feels a bit of a mug after being dropped like a stone as soon as someone else came along.
“She has told pals she is considering speaking to someone formally at the Beeb, to air her feelings.”
Earlier this year Louise — who has always denied any romance with Kevin — unfollowed him on Instagram.
News of their rift comes after The Sun on Sunday revealed that TV presenter Stacey was dating Kevin, having ended her five-year relationship with personal trainer, Sam Tucknott, 30.
However, two days after last year’s Strictly final — when a record 12.7million viewers watched Stacey lift the glitterball trophy — Louise was pictured in Grimsby, smiling alongside Kevin and his parents, Judy and Keith.
The four later enjoyed a private dinner away from the cameras. This is the latest scandal to hit the Grimsby-born pro dancer.
While there is no suggestion of any unprofessionalism, Stacey is the third celebrity partner of Kevin’s to call time on a relationship after dancing with him.
In 2013 he was paired with Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid.
Weeks after the series finished, her 15-year relationship with partner Dominic Cotton collapsed.
Three years later, after losing out to BBC sports presenter Ore Oduba in the final, Louise shocked the nation by announcing her split from Jamie.
The couple, who have two sons, Beau, ten, and 14-year-old Charley, were married for 19 years and were widely seen as having one of the strongest unions in showbiz.
It subsequently emerged that Jamie, 45, had phoned Kevin’s then wife Karen, with concerns that London-born Louise and Kevin might be having an “affair”.
After becoming aware of the pair texting, Jamie reportedly called Venezuelan dancer Karen, 37 — who also stars on Strictly.
It prompted her to ask former Liverpool midfielder to “try and keep Louise away from Kevin”.
Earlier this week Stacey confirmed her romance with Latin American champ Kevin. She posted a picture of the beaming couple on her Instagram stories — which Kevin later shared.
She confirmed she had come to support his dance show, Burn The Floor.
She has told pals she is considering speaking to someone formally at the Beeb, to air her feelings.

Louise — who in 2004 was crowned Britain’s Sexiest Woman in a decade — recently insisted she had not found love since splitting from Jamie.
She said: “I’ve been single for a year and a half now and no one is ringing me up asking me for a date. But who knows? At the moment, I just don’t know if that’s ever going to happen.
“What I will say is, if it happens, I’m going to be honest and open and embrace it. But my kids get the last say.”
Asked by The Sun about Kevin and Stacey’s romance, Louise recently said: “I haven’t spoken to him for a long time. Most probably since the show started. Not since last year.
“I’ve never met Stacey, so I have no idea. Everyone has a different experience, everybody does the show for different reasons, everyone is looking for something different.
“There’s curses everywhere, no matter what job.”
Louise and Jamie tied the knot in June 1998, shunning a huge, showbiz wedding. They got engaged and married in the same week, while on holiday in Bermuda.
Louise found fame in 1993, as one quarter of girl group Eternal. She quit two years later to pursue a solo career, going on to release three platinum-selling albums with hit singles including Naked and 2 Faced.
Kevin went on to marry third wife Karen, This week it emerged that she is reportedly cutting ties with Kevin and reverting back to her maiden name Hauer.
She is said to be making the move in time for this year’s series in the wake of the Stacey revelations.
Earlier this month Stacey’s heartbroken ex Sam gave an interview to The Sun on Sunday, in which he hit out at “slippery snake” Kevin, and the infamous curse of Strictly.
He added: “My anger is with Kevin. It’s more like Strictly Come Dating — year in, year out.
“Strictly is meant to be a family show but it’s so sleazy, and I cannot begin to wonder what goes on behind the scenes.
“He’s an absolute complete f*****g rat with no b******s.”
