Emmerdale spoilers: Ellis Chapman fights for his life after being stabbed on night out
He's stabbed by a mysterious attacker on the soap's Big Night Out and it could be fatal - but who did it?
Emmerdale fans will learn who stabbed Ellis Chapman during a night out next week during a special flashback episode.
Ellis – who’s played by Asan N’jie – ended up in hospital when he was knifed outside a club in Hotten.
Last night it was revealed that Ellis survived the attack, but no one knows who actually plunged the knife into him.
His elder brother Billy Fletcher was seen with a blade in his sock as he raced to the club to protect Ellis from twisted gangster Max Garrick. Billy was shaken when Max sent him a photo of Ellis inside the club after making threats to his family.
Viewers will see Billy recalling the night out to Ellis and Aaron Dingle. The flashback will then show Billy searching for Ellis outside of the club as the fire alarm goes off, causing panic.
It soon becomes clear what happened. So who stabbed Ellis? Could his own brother have been responsible for putting his life in danger? The brothers had a furious showdown in the club, with Ellis telling Billy a few home truths.
There is shock for Ellis after the revelations and Billy fears he’s lost his brother forever.
Last night it was revealed that Max was arrested and questioned by police, but then released. He was able to provide an alibi for the time Ellis was stabbed, leaving Ellis and Billy’s mum, Jessie Dingle, wondering who actually stab her son.
When the police questioned Ellis about his attacker, he was vague telling them he couldn’t remember anything about the incident. Could he be covering for a crime his brother committed?
