LINE of Duty's Adrian Dunbar kidnapped Susanna Reid when she was 12 years old in her telly debut in 1985's The Price.
The clip was aired on Good Morning Britain today and showed the presenter as a young girl having a panic attack as she's snatched by an IRA terrorist.
Susanna, 48, said she'd filmed the show, which starred Peter Barkworth and The Crown's Harriet Walter, 34 years ago before she ditched acting.
Co-host Piers Morgan introduced the clip to viewers before grilling guest Adrian on his Line of Duty role as copper Ted Hastings and said: "You have been a grisly kidnapping IRA terrorist in your time. Because actually your victim was Susanna Reid!"
Adrian was then seen crashing into a room carrying a tiny Susanna under a blanket.
He pulls it off and tries unsuccessfully to calm her down.
A young Susanna is still recognisable with her familiar brown hair and brown eyes.
And Piers found the scene hilarious, before mocking her acting by pretending to hyperventilate.
After watching the clip Adrian turned to Susanna and said: "That was like her first day starting with you wasn't it Piers?"
Despite the dig, Piers begged the pair to recreate the scene but Adrian quipped: "Now calm yourself down Piers."
The presenter and Piers were left howling with laughter at Adrian's witty remarks throughout their chat as he spoke about Line of Duty.
He walked on air to the sound of dramatic music and the Irish star was pummelled with questions as huge fan Piers, 54, begged him to reveal more about H.
In Sunday's episode, the leader of anti-corruption unit AC-12 pleaded his innocence before insisting he was being framed as the dreaded H.
And before he could even get get comfy Piers turned to the Irish star and asked: "Are you H?"
Adrian left the question hanging in the air and sat in silence, before glaring at Piers as he replied: "I can't tell you."
But viewers think if Ted was working with gangsters for money, then he would surely not be in the financial difficulty he is.
THERE are several other Line Of Duty questions we still need answering . . .
And the criminals do not appear to have anything to blackmail him with.
Ted did receive a suspicious £50,000 from cop-turned-investment manager Mark Moffatt – but he claimed he did not know what was going to be in the envelope and he probably assumed it was just compensation for the cash he lost in the property scheme.
As for the laptop Ted may be destroying, it could be for any number of reasons.
And his more reckless behaviour, including the solo prison visit to gangster Lee Banks and barging into the surveillance operation on the gang, may just be him resorting to desperate measures to catch the criminals.
