VICTORIA'S season three finale came to a dramatic end when Prince Albert collapsed.
But is he dead? This is one of many unanswered questions from this last episode - we take you through them.
The show starts with the opening of the Great Exhibition looming, the world is watching and though Prince Albert is exhausted, it is the biggest day of his life, and he and Queen Victoria are determined to make it a success.
Meanwhile Victoria is told that her head Lady in waiting Sophie is unwell, and she endeavours to uncover the truth, and finds out her husband is keeping her captive.
She commands her husband, the Duke of Monmouth, to release her, telling him that she expects to see Sophie at the Exhibition, which she does.
Thousands visit Hyde Park for the opening of the Great Exhibition and the occasion appears to be a glorious triumph.
However, behind the scenes, Lord Palmerston suffers a knock back as he misreads a political situation, and ends up resigning as Foreign Secretary.
Feodora, meanwhile, is foiled in her plans to marry her daughter to Louis Napoleon, and her true nature is revealed to Albert who is furious with her and says that she "betrayed" him.
She says she will leave the palace the following day, but Victoria wants her to stay.
After being held captive, Sophie met up with Joseph, the palace footman she has been having an affair with, who wants her to run away with him to America.
Sophie decides to leave her home in the middle of the night to find Joseph, however as she goes to leave, her son can be seen on the stairs saying that he had a nightmare that he couldn’t find her, we then see Joseph waiting for her at the station.
The final scene starts with a tender moment between Albert and Victoria talking about his achievement with the Great Exhibition.
However the show ends with heartbreak as the Prince collapses, leaving viewers fearing her may have died.
This is the big question. We know from history that unfortunately Victoria's beloved husband will die young.
But he meets his untimely death aged around 42 - in season three he is aged around 30 to 31.
With this in mind, this cliffhanger could just be the start of his illness.
It is documented that from around this time in his life he suffered with stomach problems, which ultimately resulted in his death.
It looks like we might lose Albert in season four, which will leave Victoria devastated.
After Albert finally realises what Feodora was like and is furious with her, she threatens to leave the palace, but will she go?
The history books tell us that she had a good relationship with her sister, Queen Victoria - however this has not played out on the show.
Maybe she will return (or stay at the palace) and the pair will make amends.
This remains to be seen as the last we see of her is her stalling her getaway after the encounter with her son - it then flashed to Joseph waiting at the station.
She wants a better life away from her husband and with her new love.
But after seeing her son as she was trying to escape, this may make her stay, leaving Joe to go to America alone.
We saw him quit as Foreign Secretary after the Prime Minster had a secret meeting with other cabinet members to get him ousted from the government.
However, it now looks like he has his sights set on the PM job.
And here's a spoiler, he does get the job, and this may be reflected in season four.
In real-life Palmerston served as Prime Minister between 1855 to 1858.
