Madonna confirmed for Eurovision 2019 interval performance: who else will be performing at the final with her?
DESPITE initial delays in getting her contract signed, Madonna has officially been announced as one of the performers at Eurovision's interval on Saturday.
With the confirmation being made regarding the singer's performance, it should also be noted that Madge is expected to earn a $1miliion (£774,420) pay cheque. Here's what you need to know about her performance on the Eurovision stage tonight...
Who is performing in the Eurovision 2019 interval with Madonna?
In April it was revealed that Madonna will perform at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
It was believed that the singer, 60, was paid a reported $1million by Israeli-Canadian billionaire Sylvan Adams for the performance.
The following acts will also be putting on a show during the interval:
Netta
Last year's winner, Netta, will premiere her new song at the event.
This follows her opening the first Semi-final with a new version of her winning song Toy - the song that won her the competition last year.
Conchita
Austrian Eurovision 2014 winner Conchita will also be performing during the intermission.
She will sing Måns Zelmerlöw's Heroes.
Mans Zelmerlow
Swedish Eurovision 2015 winner Mans Zelmerlow will take to the stage during the interval.
The hunky Swede will perform Eleni Foureira’s Fuego.
Eleni Foureira
Eleni, 32, came second in last year's Eurovision Song Contest representing Cyprus with her song Fuego.
The Greek singer will sing Verka Serduchka’s Dancing Lasha Tumbai.
Verka Serduchka
Ukrainan drag queen and singer Verka Serduchka came second in the competition in 2007.
He will perform Netta's Toy.
Gali Atari
Israeli Eurovision 1979 winner Gali will also take to the stage.
She will join Conchita, Mans Zelmerlow, Eleni Foureira and Verka Serduchka to sing Hallelujah together.
Other notable people who will be taking to the stage during the intermission are Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot, musical group Idan Raichel Project and mentalist Lior Suchard.
The decision to host the song contest in Israel - after the country's entry last year, Netta, won the competition - has been met with controversy.
Peter Gabriel, 69, Vivienne Westwood, 78, and Roger Waters, 75, were among 50 British cultural figures to sign an open letter asking the BBC to push the organisers on moving the competition to another country.
