Gemma Collins suffers epic fake tan fail as she lands in LA with dark orange hands

GEMMA Collins had a shocking fake-fan fail as she landed in Los Angeles - with the most orange hands in Hollywood.

The 38-year-old Essex legend gave a peace sign to photographers after touching down that suggested she'd been vigorously applying tan all the way across the Atlantic.

In another picture, the reality TV queen held out her arms to reveal the other hand was glowing dark orange too.

Towie favourite Gemma looked cheerful as she bowled through the airport in LA-regulation sunglasses, brandishing a Christian Dior bag.

Dressed in a leopard-print two-piece, she grabbed a fruity drink before merrily chatting to a couple of fans outside.

As we revealed yesterday, the GC has been living up to her diva status, taking no fewer than 11 suitcases with her to the US.

The 38-year-old left London yesterday and was heard asking the hotel concierge team whether the cases "would fit" as they loaded them into a waiting car.

Last week, she told fans her moment in the Hollywood spotlight had finally arrived, posting a picture of the town's famous sign.

Referencing her CBB co-stars Jonathan 'Food God' Cheban and Spencer Pratt, she wrote: "The hills have called - I’m SO EXCITED.

"L.A. BABY can’t believe my career has taken me here, can’t wait to hit rodeo drive with @foodgod and convincing @prattprattpratt to come horse riding with the cowboys and me #divaforever."

Gemma made her return to Towie in Sunday night's episode and wasted no time getting back to her feisty best.

She laid into Dan Edgar and Amber Turner over the love triangle with her good pal Chloe Sims.

The self-confessed diva also used the episode to announce her move to LA, telling 36-year-old Chloe: "I need Sun, Chlo. I need glamour."

By the look of things, she may also need a tanning glove.
