MEL B still can’t forgive Geri Horner for walking out of The Spice Girls 21 years ago despite the band now being back together for their tour.
Mel said she has used all the preparation time together as an opportunity to quiz Geri on why she decided to quit.
She told Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, which airs this summer: “It bothers me because we’re so solid and we know each other inside out, us five girls.
“We would take a bullet for each other.
"So it was devastating to me that she felt so bad about herself and her situation that the only way out was just to leave and not talk.
“I still remind her of it. She was round yesterday and I said to her, ‘Why did you leave? Really, why did you leave?’”
Geri, Mel, Emma Bunton and Mel C will kick off their 13-date arena tour at Dublin’s Croke Park on Friday, giving them plenty of time to chat about Geri’s walkout.
With all those questions, sounds like she might end up quitting again if Mel isn’t careful.
