EMMERDALE'S Lisa Dingle will die at the alter during her wedding to Zak tonight, fans have predicted.
Actress Jane Cox, who has played Lisa for 23 years, recently confirmed she's leaving the Dales and that her exit storyline will be permanent.
And now viewers reckon a heart-rending end is in store for poor Lisa.
One fan tweeted: "Daughter reckons lisa dies at altar ... what a happy soul she is ... after all the crap with maya storyline hope lisa has a good day!"
Another chimed: "Lisa going to die during the wedding to cheer the week up ?."
It’s not yet been revealed exactly when Lisa will die in Emmerdale, but it looks like it will be in the next few weeks.
She's already called on Charity to write her eulogy and is remarrying ex-husband Zak in preparation for her death.
She broke the sad news to the rest of the Dingle clan that she’s suffering from a terminal heart condition, leaving them all devastated, but determined to make the most of the time they have left with her.
Emmerdale and Jane are yet to make a statement about when exactly Lisa will leave us, but you can bet your bottom dollar it’s going to be a weepy one when she does.
Jane previously confessed that she’s quit the soap that’s been part of her life for almost 25 years because of the gruelling hours now Emmerdale is six days a week.
Speaking to the , the 67-year-old actress said: “It is long, long days and then you don’t have time in the evening because you have lines to learn for the next day."
“I decided that this is going to be my time to do things I didn’t have time to do. I still feel about 20-odd, but in 20 years I will be 87, and there are other things in life that I want to explore.”
“I know if I hadn’t have left now I never would. Life is such an exciting thing, you never know what is around the corner. It was a big decision but I know it is the right thing," she says.
