COUNTDOWN's highest ever scorer won for the fifth day in a row after he solved tasks in just 10 seconds.
Student Elliott Mellor, believed to be in his 20s, has been wowing viewers all week by mercilessly beating the other contestants on the Channel 4 game show.
Last Friday, fans were left in awe as he beat the show's previously-held top score of 150, which was achieved in January this year, nabbing a staggering 152.
Meanwhile, today's episode saw Elliott beat opponent Monica as he correctly answered every question but one, leaving her with a score of just 10 compared to his 126.
He successfully solved seven and eight letter conundrums, which included words such as "parotid" and "Judicare".
Elliott was also able to complete each of the maths tasks, working out 338 in the very first round compared to Monica's 333.
The episode ended with the brainbox solving the final conundrum "Meanswear" after around ten seconds - leaving host Nick Hewer to remark: "That was slower than normal."
He went on to heap praise on the phenomenal contestant, continuing: "Terrific performance there, very good Elliot."
Jon Culshaw added: "Extraordinary – the speed of cognitive thought is really is quite amazing."
Yesterday's instalment of the show saw Elliott complete the final conundrum almost instantly, correctly putting together "Gimpcount".
Nick was floored as he revealed that the Oldham local had finished the task in just one second.
And it isn't just the presenter who has been left in awe, with viewers flocking to social media to comment on Elliott's repeated success.
One wrote: "Elliott on #Countdown is insanely good!! So young too. What a legend!"
