Spice Girls opening reunion gig hampered by sound issues as fans ‘WALK OUT’
The girls kicked off their live comeback at Dublin's 82,000 capacity Croke Park last night
SOUND issues hampered the Spice Girls opening reunion gig – with some fans said to have WALKED OUT.
More than 75,000 people had paid between £66 and £146 to see the girlband’s return at Dublin’s Croke Park.

But some in the upper seats complained they were unable to hear their iconic hits.
Mel B told Spice Girls fans she hopes the vocals and sound quality will improve at the next show after gig-goers fumed they couldn't hear the girls at Dublin's Croke Park last night.
Scary Spice filmed a candid video from her bed, admitting things could have been better and vowed to right the issues when the group play Cardiff on Monday.
She said: "Hey guys, thank you for attending our show tonight in Dublin. We will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the sound and vocals will be much much better."

With her head on a pillow, Mel ended the video by exhaling deeply.
Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Mel C kicked off their reunion stadium tour last night - their first performance for seven years.
Fans, who forked out up to £100 for tickets, turned up in their droves in Spice Girls T-shirts and wearing everything from platform trainers to leopard print in honour of girl power.

But they were left feeling deflated after the show was hit with sound issues.
One upset punter wrote: "It's the worst gig I've ever been to."
Another replied to it: "I don't know where your in the stadium but the sound is shocking."
Another wrote: "Sound is horrendous."
While a fourth questioned who was in charge of mixing the audio.
The Sun Online has contacted the Spice Girls' representative for comment.
However, not everyone at the much-anticipated gig was disappointed, with many loving classic tracks such as Wannabe and 2 Become 1.

One delighted attendee shared: "Amazing to see the Spice Girls tonight! Listening to them on tape aged 12 I never thought I'd get to see them live one day! Man can they perform! Phenomenal show. Stars, the original and best girl band #spicegirls #spicegirlsdublin #dublin."
Another posted: "@spicegirls what can I say yous didn't disappoint!! Amazing from start to finish. All our dreams came true. #SpiceWorld2019 have lost my voice because I screamed like a 15year old girl. Memories forever #friendshipneverends."
A a third gushed: "It was amazing. Stunning. Girls looked like goddesses. I'm in awe still."
Pyrotechnics and dancers accompanied hits including Wannabe, 2 Become 1 and Mama.
Speaking in the show’s official programme, Geri said: “Almost 25 years later and we’re still doing it.
“Emma, you’ll always be my little sister, (much to your annoyance) who I want to protect.
“Melanie B you’re amazing up on that stage, Victoria you’ll be missed, but here in spirit and Melanie C, what strength and focus you give us all, thank you. I love you all.”
And in an emotional video montage halfway through the show, each member individually recorded a gushing tribute to Victoria’s input, adding: “She will always be a Spice Girl.”

The Spice Girls went to number one with their debut single Wannabe in 1996 and went on to become the biggest-selling girl group of all time, selling 85million records.
Geri left the band in 1998 and in 2000 the group said they were taking an indefinite hiatus to concentrate on solo careers — but never officially split.
But despite their differences, all four showed they seem to be on good terms by having a group hug at the end of tear-jerker Viva Forever and performing a cover of We Are Family.
Their last official performance together was at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012.
