ELLIS Chapman’s panic attacks over thug Max lead him into danger in Emmerdale.

The personal trainer is terrified when he grabs a weapon to defend himself.

Ellis will find himself in a dangerous situation in Emmerdale next week as he suffers panic attacks over gangster Max.

Ellis played by Asan N’jie in the ITV soap - will be overcome with fear when he spots someone who he thinks is brother Billy Fletcher’s old prison-mate Max while he’s out.

Aaron Dingle – Danny Miller - finds Ellis in the throes of a panic attack and will try to comfort him, but Ellis is terrified and runs away from a concerned Aaron.

The next day Aaron tells Billy – Jay Kontzle - that he found Ellis in a state and Billy makes a call to Max to tell him to stay away from his family.

Then Max leaves a threatening message the next day, causing Ellis to have another panic attack.

A furious Billy heads off to confront Max and hammers on the door of a house.

But he’s alarmed when another lad opens the door and tells him that Max has already gone looking for Billy.

Meanwhile, back at home, Ellis is still gripped by his panic attack when he hears a rattling at the back door. As his fight or flight response kicks in, he picks up a rolling pin, ready to defend himself.

Is it Max at the door though? And what will Ellis do with the rolling pin?

Ellis has been living in fear since he was stabbed on a night out back in April. It was thought that either Max or Billy had stabbed Ellis, but was later revealed it was the brothers of a man called Riley.

Riley was the person Billy and his friends had assaulted, leading to him being jailed. His brothers were out to get revenge for the attack.

But Billy has been in Max’s bad books since pulling out of a robbery, leaving Max out of pocket. The gangster has promised he’ll make Billy pay for letting him down and has threatened his whole family.
