Emmerdale spoilers: Eric Pollard brings down paedo Maya Stepney in dramatic scenes as he confronts her with final ultimatum

ERIC Pollard is set to come face-to-face with the woman who groomed and abused his teenage grandson in tonight’s Emmerdale.

The pensioner – who’s played by Chris Chittell in the ITV soap – will spot an incognito Maya Stepney lurking around the village.

Maya – who has been bailed on the condition she stays well away from Jacob – can’t seem to keep away and when Eric spots her, he rushes home to call the police and inform them that the paedophile is breaking her bail conditions.

But while Eric doesn’t think that Maya has spotted him spotting her, she clearly does as she later shows up at his house and stops the call just as he’s on the phone to the coppers.

Eric will then give Maya an ultimatum, either tell Jacob - who is still holding on to the hope they can be together, that she doesn’t love him any more - or he calls the police and tells them she’s in the village.

So what will Maya do?

Whatever her decision, she clearly doesn’t stay away for very long as spoilers for next week have revealed the twisted teacher is attacked in upcoming episodes.

And it’s Jacob’s distraught dad, David Metcalfe, who is the prime suspect for putting Maya in hospital.

Meanwhile actress Louisa Clein who plays Maya has hinted that her character will be leaving the soap for good following the twisted teacher’s court appearance.

She let slip she's already filmed the moment Maya finds out her fate after grooming schoolboy Jacob.

Sources told The Sun last week that Louisa is leaving the Dales for good — and was given a proper send-off by the rest of the cast.

Now the actress appears to have confirmed her character's fate after she was finally arrested for the abuse as a distraught Jacob watched on.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online at the Soap Awards, actress Louisa appeared to confirm she's already filmed her final scenes on the soap.

"She's been arrested and she's out, but there will be a court case," Louisa said.

"The court case might have already been filmed."

When quizzed on whether she's already said goodbye to her soap character, the actress added: "I can't possibly comment on anything such as that.
