Emmerdale fans convinced Robert Sugden will go to prison for murdering Victoria’s rapist as Ryan Hawley quits the show
EMMERDALE fans think they know how Robert Sugden will leave the village later this year - being imprisoned for murdering sister Victoria's rapist Lee.
Viewers were devastated last night when The Sun exclusively revealed how actor Ryan Hawley had quit the ITV soap after five years playing Robert.
And now their minds are in overdrive about how half of the so-called RobRon coupling will leave the village.
Some are so desperate for the couple to stay together - despite all of the trauma they have been through - that they want Aaron to leave with Robert.
But others think Robert will be sent to prison after taking violent revenge on his sister's rapist.
Victoria was brutally raped by a clubber called Lee earlier this year and she has struggled to cope with the crime and not getting justice for what happened to her.
And with Robert taking matters into his own hands next week by exposing Lee as the rapist he is publicly, fans think it will develop into an even darker storyline where Robert attacks and kills Lee before confessing and being sent to prison.
One fan wrote: "I think Robert will probably end up going to jail for killing Victoria's rapist or something."
A second said: "I guess its time for Robert to go to prison? He's the only one left... I mean...that's all emmerdale does right? Recycle #emmerdale"
Another added: "So do we think Robert is going to kill Victoria rapist n go to prison as an exit or run. Only ways can see coming as of now.. #RyanHawley #emmerdale #robron"
