Spice Girls make dig at ‘missing’ Victoria Beckham – while she skips last show for footie wedding with David
SPICE Girls made a cheeky dig about missing member Victoria Beckham during Thursday night's sold out concert in Wembley Stadium.
The girlband - made up of Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Horner - have been touring the UK and Ireland without fifth member Victoria, 45, after she ruled herself out of the reunion gigs last year citing work commitments.
As the group sang their hit Wannabe during the first night of their three-night London residency, they changed the original lyrics from, "Easy v doesn't come for free, she's a real lady... And as for me, haha you'll see" to "as for V - where is she?"
Previously fans had hoped to see Victoria at the gigs in the UK's capital.
However, their dreams were dashed when the fashion designer posted photos of herself on Instagram in Los Angeles shortly before the show was due to begin.
On the final night of their tour, Victoria snubbed a reunion in favour of attending a wedding instead.
She was seen posed up to husband David who waved to the cameras at the wedding of Real Madrid's Spanish footballer Sergio Ramos.
The comments come after Baby Spice Emma Bunton had the support of her closest girl friends in the crowd during last night's concert.
The singer's pal Holly Willoughby definitely had the Friday feeling as she attended the band's second London date with a glass of prosecco in hand.
The 38-year-old presenter joined her husband Dan Baldwin along with pals Nicole and Natalie Appleton, Kate Thornton as well as fellow presenter Laura Whitmore at the fun-filled gig.
Getting into the spirit of the festivities, Holly donned a white T-shirt, which had a picture of Emma from yesteryear emblazoned across it with the work "Baby" underneath, and a pair of chic leather shorts.
The popular presenter was seen toasting to the weekend as she poured glasses of prosecco and arrived with shots backstage for her girl gang before going out to watch the show.
She was later captured on Instagram dancing up a storm with her friends to the band's hits Who Do You Think You Are?, 2-Become-1 and Wannabe.
As the evening progressed, Holly proved to be the ultimate host as she arrived to her seat with drinks for her pals before showcasing her moves to the group's song Stop Right Now.
After the concert, the This Morning host joined her friends backstage to congratulate Emma on her latest concert with Spice Girls and posed for a sweet photo.
In November, Emma revealed that she had taught best pal Holly the dance moves to the Spice Girls hit Stop ahead of the group's historic reunion.
Baby Spice, 42, revealed she'd tutored the This Morning co-host in how to perform the hit 1997 song.

On her Heart Radio show this morning, co-host Jamie Theakston played Stop, asking Emma: "You still remember all the moves presumably?"
Emma replied: "I do remember all the moves. It's Holly Willoughby's favourite song so I had to teach her the routine."
Holly and Emma are old friends, with the singer being a long-time member of the TV presenter's 'celeb squad'.
