PIERS Morgan today slammed the idea of Sophie Turner playing Boy George in a biopic asking: "How will she have sex like him?"
George, 58, named the Game of Thrones actress as one of the candidates to play him - but admitted it would likely upset people because "she’s a woman".
Piers, 54, ranted on Good Morning Britain after the '80s icon revealed Sophie, 23, is in the running for the role.
Piers fumed: "Boy George, in his biopic, presumably at some stage has sex with people. How is he going to do that if he doesn't have the equipment?
"There are reality checks to having Sophie Turner playing Boy George, one of which is: she's a woman."
Piers continued: "Does Wonder Woman get played by a man? No. When someone is a famous man like Boy George how can it be a women playing (him)? Create your own damn character.
"Don't take our characters, don't take our pop stars, leave us alone.
"It's a very insidious thing that every male character, a woman wants to play, it's creepy."
Piers then made it clear that "when there is a biography about my life, I want to be played by a man."
Speaking about the movie to Australian radio station Nova 96.9 yesterday, Culture Club frontman George said the actress was "one of the more interesting suggestions" .
He added: "It’s really strange, but that’s been a suggestion [I think] that will upset people, which I quite like.

"(People will say): ‘Oh she can’t play you, she’s a woman!’
"But you know, when I was 17 I would have loved to have been her… that was the ambition!"
Turner has responded to his comments and said she's "SO down" to play George in the movie.
