Emmerdale fans convinced Megan Macey will die after walking free from prison – as Gaynor Faye quits soap
EMMERDALE viewers are confused after Megan Macey walked free from prison - despite actress Gaynor Faye announcing her exit from the soap.
The wedding planner - who has been played by former Corrie star Gaynor for six years in the ITV soap - was facing a year in prison for driving without due care and attention and putting Eric Pollard in hospital.

For weeks Megan has been making plans about going to prison for her crime - that she initially tried to cover up and let Jamie Tate take the blame for.
Megan also made arrangements so her young daughter would not see her in prison, making ex Jai Sharma promise to keep her away until she is released.
And in tonight's episode she told partner Frank how she knew she was going to prison.
She told him: "Stop making out it's going to be OK Frank, we both know what's going to happen."

However, in tonight's second episode it all came to nothing as she walked back into the village a free woman leaving viewers very confused.
Last month actress Gaynor announced she was leaving the soap after six years.
She told OK!: "I know it’s a risk but I need to push myself out of my comfort zone.
"I’ve always been the type of person who doesn’t want to stay playing the same character for too long.

"I’ve been on the show for over six years and have naturally reached a point where I’d like to do some other stuff."
And now fans are worried Megan will be killed off after missing out on a prison-related exit.
One wrote: "Megans talking about the future so shes going to die soon. #emmerdale"
Another added: "I thought Megan was leaving the show. #Emmerdale"
