Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife Beth placed in medically-induced coma amid throat cancer battle
DOG the Bounty Hunter's wife Beth has been placed in a medically-induced coma amid her throat cancer battle.
Hawaii News Now reports the 51-year-old was placed in the coma by staff at Queen's Medical Centre in Hawaii over the weekend.
Her husband Duane Chapman - aka Dog the Bounty Hunter - took to Twitter over the weekend and asked his fans: "Please say your prayers for Beth right now thank you love you".
Beth was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer in November 2017.
Despite having successful surgery, doctors told her the cancer had returned and she started chemotherapy in December last year.
In April, she was rushed to hospital in Hawaii with "serious breathing issues".
Duane, 66, previously told Fox News his family's faith and beliefs were what was keeping them all going at such a difficult time.
He said: "Faith is probably the No. 1 thing in our lives, no matter what we’re faced with...
"Through this cancer episode, we had to drum up as much faith as we could. And the Bible talks about having faith as small as a mustard seed.
"And that’s not much... And I thank God that we had at least that much faith to get her through that."
The couple starred in their hit reality show from 2004 until 2012.
Beth is Duane's fifth wife, with the couple tying the knot in 2006, and became great-grandparents earlier this year.
She was last seen in public over the Easter Weekend in April as they celebrated Palm Sunday.
Beth shared a smiling photo of herself on on Sunday - she was all dolled up for the celebration with her blonde hair curled.
