RECOVERING drug addict Dawn Taylor will be pushed to the brink in Emmerdale tonight when she makes a shocking discovery in the sweet factory.

But the meeting doesn’t quite get off to the best of starts when Lucas ignores his mum - who is so mesmerised by her little boy that she barely even realises.

Eventually getting the message though, she is left feeling rejected by her son and ends up storming out of the meeting - even though the social worker tries to reassure her that it’s totally normal at this stage.

In the aftermath of her visit, Dawn heads back to the factory and is knocked for six when she catches Jai Sharma – who she thinks her surrogate mum Harriet Finch is dating – in a compromising position with Laurel Thomas.

Meanwhile, Dawn’s dad Will, arrives at Woodbine wanting to ask Harriet for advice on how to get back in his daughter’s good books who is furious that he’s landed a job at Cain’s garage.

The vicar – Katherine Dow Blyton - invites the outcast in to help her with the washing up, and it becomes clear that there is still chemistry between them.

Elsewhere in the village, Laurel is busy trying to convince Dawn that Harriet and Jay were never a thing and that it had merely been a cover story.

The young mum's fears are confirmed and she heads back to Woodbine to confront Harriet.

She then accuses the vicar of sleeping with her convict dad, leaving Harriet unsure of what to say.

After her discovery about Will and Harriet coupled with her son’s rejection ALL in one day, will Dawn be pushed back into drink and drugs?

In upcoming episodes, fans will see the complicated history between Harriet, Dawn and Will resurface.

Back in the day Harriet had stitched Will up in an undercover police sting and eventually had him sent to prison for drugs while his daughter, Dawn, ended up in care.

Will and Harriet had been in a relationship with the secret cop introducing herself as a call centre worker called Michelle as she worked on sending the drug dealer down.

Harriet went on to change her career from the police to the church before running into a grown-up Dawn several years later who arrived in the village to take out her revenge against the woman who robbed her of a childhood.

It was recently revealed that Dawn had been helping Will out with his twisted revenge plot against the former copper, even though Harriet treated her like a daughter.

Will had been able to get into his daughter’s head and convince her that all her problems stemmed from Harriet.

Fortunately Dawn had a change of heart about helping, but will Harriet really be able to forgive and forget?
