Holby City star David Ames’ stunning loft apartment with vaulted ceilings and incredible views
Holby actor David Ames has given his social media fans a glimpse of his stunning loft apartment.
The 35-year-old star has played Dr Dominic Copeland on the BBC medical drama since 2013 and was recently praised for his emotional performance when Dom was reunited his with abusive ex-boyfriend Isaac Mayfield.
But away from the chaos of Holby City Hospital, David enjoys a much calmer way of life after moving into a stylish loft apartment with incredible views.
The TV star began showing glimpses of his home in October 2018 when he shared a photo of his open-plan living and dining room on Instagram.
In the picture, David's statement moss green couch took centre stage in the space and was coordinated with a mid-century coffee table and side table.
The living room space was framed with a speckled shaggy rug while a complementing black leather armchair and patterned cushion finished off the modern furniture.
Using a fisheye lens to capture the entire space, he captioned the shot: "The flat is slowly but surely coming together. Need to hang some artwork and get a few more pieces of furniture. But I’m so so happy with my cute little nest."
Highlighting his eye for interiors, David revealed the property has a fireplace. Albeit unusable, it features black tiles and is the perfect home for one of his many plants.
The actor has decorated the white walls of the apartment with a mix of prints, including one of singer Prince, and added a pop of colour to the home with three old trunks that rest against the partition.
Moving to the dining area, the painted exposed beams become front and centre as they draw attention to his large dining table, with six contrasting leather chairs.
David complements the dining nook with a glass cabinet for his glassware and another for his drinks.
And while the actor has made the most out of his home inside, it's the outside of the property, which he lovingly calls his "little nest", that brings it up another level.
The apartment boasts an enviable grass terrace with incredible views of London city as well as funky garden chairs. Showing the patio area in its entirety, he captioned the shot: "Excited for summer out here."
